First off, keep in mind that this isn’t an expensive high-end gun. If you play serious airsoft, then get a gas pistol. However if you play like my friends and I do (running around in my backyard with cheap spring guns), then this is the perfect sidearm. The FPS and accuracy are fairly good, but where this pistol really shines is the fact that it can be cocked and fired with one hand and is the only type of spring pistol that I know of that can do so. I’m not going to write a list of benefits of having a free hand if needed during an airsoft battle, you can do that yourself. Additionally, since you only have to pull back the hammer as upposed to racking the slide of a standard pistol, you can achieve a much higher firing rate (the hammer cannot be fanned for more than one round, as keeping the trigger depressed will keep the cylinder from revolving). On the downside, the pistol only has a capacity of six, so expect to reload often. Reloading isn’t as bad as you would think as long as you do it right. Overall, a perfect budget sidearm.

    Tips and Tricks:

    -Reloading
-When reloading on the field, do not remove shells, just open the cylinder and put the BBs directly into the shells while they are still in place. This will make reloading faster and easier.
-To make reloading easier, superglue the shells into the cylinder. This will keep your shells in place so you will not loose them. If you do this, put a SMALL drop of glue on the side of the shell and carefully slide it into the cylinder. Then use a razor blade to shave off the tips of the cartridges, or the action will not work properly.
-If you don’t want to risk your gun, another option is to buy some spare shells. If you choose to do this, get two extra packs of shells. Since there are eight shells included and eight more per pack, buying two packs will give you 24 shells. For someone like me who is a bit on the OCD side, this will allow you to have a number of shells divisible by six (the capacity of the revolver).

-I have discovered that if you wrap a BB in tissue paper and put it in the front end of the shell and then put two more into the the back, it transforms a revolver into a shotgun.

-The sights are adjustable for windage and elevation, but due to the accuracy, the sights will probably not be used much anyway. Do not fully tighten the elevation screw or the cylinder will not revolve.

-The hammer has checkering on it which, if you fire this gun a lot, can tear up your thumb a bit. I used a file tomake the hammer flat. It lends itself to fast firing and still has plenty of grip.

-Do not disassemble unless you know what you are doing. There are a lot of small parts with springs on them that will fly out in different directions when the gun is opened. I found it very hard to get back together.

One last word, the combination of one-handed use, a fast firing rate and the ability to fire makeshift shotshells make this the ultimate close-quarters weapon. Buy one (or four). Now.

I love this gun. I bought the silver and black 4″. It has a metal barrel and seems to have metal internal pieces. I only gave the gun 4 stars out of 5 because I was extremely dissapointed that both the trigger and hammer are plastic. They aren’t even the ABS (high quality) plastic the handle and body are made of. Shipping took one day longer than the estimated shipping date. The shells are awesome and easy to load, although plastic. They seem tough. The gun is fairly accurate; the sights took some getting used to, but once I learned to point and shoot, I hit the last 3 of my 4 targets (of the six shot cylinder).

    In the box:
    Gun
    8 shells (gun takes 6)
    50 .12G 6mm airsoft bbs
    Barrel plug
    Two paper targets
About five different manuals in assorted engrish

The manuals are actually quite entertaining. The trigger pull feels solid enough, but again, it’s cheap plastic. The bbs stay in the shells well, but I have discovered that if held at too much of an angle, the shells can fall back from the cylinder just an eighth of a centimeter, stopping it from rotating. The cylinder advances with each trigger pull, not each hammer cock as I had expected. I think the gun is easy to cock, and the hammer has a nice grip to it. You can also uncock it, just like a real revolver. Doing this will not advance the cylinder, making this a great stealth weapon. My old pistol had a bb resevoir that rattled about when I ran, making stealth impossible. This gun does just the opposite, very silent to operate. (This is also great for target practice in my room, as it doesn’t annoy the family.) This is a very intimidating gun. The cylinder is actually pretty tough to roll out, and once out, does not spin freely as I had hoped. I wanted to run the cylinder down the length of my arm like the lone ranger, checking how many shots I had left, and then flick the cylinder back into place – all with one hand. This is not possible. One scenario I have reenacted, however, was the iconic Dirty Harry scene – “…and you gotta ask yourself – ‘do I feel lucky?’ Well? Do ya, punk?”.

This is a fantastic gun, but only time will tell if the cheaper plastic on the hammer and trigger will survive. I am also yet to use this in an airsoft war, but with its accuracy and one hand cocking, it makes for the perfect side arm. I love this size – I would definitely reccommend the 4″ over the 2.5″, 6″, or 8″, unless of course you would go with the all black 8″ to truly emulate Clint Eastwood.
By the way, I am a sixteen year old who loves airsoft. This is a fun, semi durable gun that is definitely worth the price. It is now my favorite gun.
